Hello everyone,
The article is about me and my family. I just came across this article today, and I was actually very happily surprised to see that it was featured here. Thank you, LGBTQ Nation for picking up the story. I wanted the word to spread as far as possible. I would also like to clarify some things for the sake of the full story. First, when my ex-husband found the dojo, he had no inclination that it was run by a homophobic bigot. Their website has a weirdly sexist quote on it, but no homophobic comments. My wife and I were totally floored when we were kicked out, and my ex-husband was livid. He called the man and told him off for what he did. Then we took to Facebook, Yelp, Google, and the local news to spread the word. Second, we have no intention of taking our son back there. That was an immediate no-brainer. We have since found at least four studios locally, and our son will be trying out a couple this week. All are very welcoming. We have asked. Finally, there will be no lawsuit. While they most likely broke the law, my wife and I are simply wanting to make sure that the word spreads as far as possible so that this man’s influence can be squashed. We aren’t looking for money out of it, and suing, to us, will just dilute our purpose.

as for DOMA, President Bill Clinton did that as a consession to the Republicans who had more seats in the houses.

Clinton has also said it was a mistake, he was the first USA President to include gays and lesbians and meet with us, and that led to IGLA having UN Status as an NGO.
Clinton started the military inclusion of gays and lesbians.
Obama was the first president to say Atheists were Americans and could be patriotic too.

False Dilemma: it is not an either or situation, both can be done and more, at the same time
