It has been strange to see Canada politics shift from the politician to the politician’s family.
Normally in Canada, we do not like to imagine our politicians naked, because, for the most part, they are not an attractive group.
When there have been scandals, it’s mostly been money and sometimes drugs.
In Canada, the obvious comparison for our new PM is his father, one of the longer serving PMs. but we have the queen and GG office, so we’re okay with the idea of hereditary rule and family dynasties.
Many see PM Justin Trudeau as Northern Obama with a dash of JFKesqueness – but it’s the 1970s that are in nostalgia more than the 60s now. Environmentalism – give a hoot and don’t pollute. natures rules and concrete drools.
