Being the majority does not make you correct

and why it is important for minorities to have rights

there is no science to support your claim, there is no validation beyond mob rule

for a private person to say and express this is one very small thing

but for a person in a position of public trust and policymaking

it is not okay to have petty personal opinions, one must be informed by actual reality

we have to chose to not repeat history, lest we forget, eh

Rex Tillerson to Humans: You Must Adapt to Global Warming

I’ve been wondering for the last few years on how the whole climate change problem could get so out of control. The most unsettling possibility I have ever considered is that the resulting disaster from climate change was the desired goal.

From the price of food and water going through to roof due to crop failures; to the massive arm sales to nations facing potential conflicts with neighboring countries over resources and land. The disasters caused by climate change would be a fiesta of economic opportunities no doubt.

One thing is certain technology is steadily eroding at the supply / cost factor of capitalism. As robotics, ai and general tech progresses the cost of certain things will drastically drop due to humongous production capability. Even now we employ various tactics to produce artificial scarcity (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artificial_scarcity).

At its worst climate change would really be like hitting the big reset switch. What a horrible scenario to even imagine.

The future is certainly worrying

I think the future will not refer to us as The Information Age.
