It was a breeze for me when I came out, I was shocked my parents, siblings and relatives accepted me just as I am no matter what. They even went as far as match making for me. Lol. They just want me to be happy, healthy, cared for and loved. And my mother wants me to find a doctor or a lawyer; Oi Vey. My father on the other hand says, as long as the man of my choice has a job or profession, no matter what it may be, that man has respect for himself and me. In other words my father doesn’t care what someone does for living, as long as they have a daily job to go to. That’s where my parents clash. Oi Vey. My parents, siblings and relatives are not religious; they’re more or less agnostic or deistic or atheistic or pantheistic; and they totally reject all religions. And they find religions are for the ignorant gullible fools who believe in superstitious nonsense, and they find them to be violent due to brainwashing these fools get from religion.1 Reply

most that I knew were banished and around the world exiled or executed… i am glad you had a positive experience. I thought I had family support in my early life when I came out, but i learned later things were not what they seemed.
