Jingle Jangles

Intense jingle bells woke me

I stumbled through clothes and emerged from my room

the sound was louder

loud for a single jingle bell

 

the cat, drooling and purring

rolled quicker than you’d expect

the 2 catnip toys soaked with her saliva

eyes more glazed than donuts

 

cats are cats no matter the size
