At the MultiPlex:
I went on a lesbian date to a multiplex showing of this about to be an Oscar Winning Film.
I had my arm around my date and we were both college age and some middle aged woman behind us got offended.
I said, to my date, but loud enough “Boy has she picked the wrong movie to get offended at.”
I went on a date with a bisexual woman to this popcorn flick. no one noticed.
At the Arthouse Movie Theatre
I went out with another lesbian pal to see this movie and realized partway through, she thought it was a date.
D: A Lesbian Date at an arthouse theatre for a queer film/or festival would could – and you create a moment with the dialog – (cue RHSP anticipation, eh?)
“On the couch? that’s hard!”
(me and the date in unison, without missing any acting beats)
“No it’s not!”
then the entire breathing hard gasping and gazing open mouthed in Canadian silence
blushing as everyone turn eyes to look and gasp or laugh with relief and/or understanding
On VHS from a Video Store – the Direct to VHS/DVD movies turned HBO/Netflicks original programming really…
For the Ultimate Brat Packer Insider jokes – and for kd lang and Melissa Etheridge fans
there’s a ME track that was never released and she does an unspoken cameo as a hooker in police holding
while kd lang – plays a crazzzzed femme christian heterosexual..
excellent list of films.
