oh but that’s exactly what all them eco wackjobs are preaching. If
you’ll make underdeveloped populations to give up coal power, which is
the only energy source they can afford, then what do you think happens?
They will somehow magically get themselves solar and wind power plants
and they will live happily ever after? Europe can’t afford a switch like
that for crying out loud. And try living without power for one single
month. And no, you can’t take a cab and go to a hospital either, because
it all requires power. Good luck.
+good ole Crick huh?

you really need to realize that we can do better than fossil fuels and we have to. seriously, you need to learn about other energy sources, the 1970s Acid Rain and the business regulation that resolved that canada/usa border problem needed to continue through the resource extraction to manufacturing industries. we have to stop with the 1800 economy. weather.com – 106-Year-Old News Blurb Might Have Been First Time Coal Was Tied to Climate Change | The Weather Channel

we
can and we have to, yes. But the other half of the population, which
lives on under one dollar a day only have to, because that have no means
to do it. For them it’s either coal power or back to the stone age
pretty much, and that’s exactly why they will never go for it. And
frankly, we hardly have the right to tell them what they can and cannot
do about their development, given how we all built our own economies on
fossil fuels.
I would suggest you to take a vacation in Thailand and
while you’re there, don’t stay on the coast, but go north and see how
people are living.
I can afford to put up solar panels on my roof,
you probably have can too. But the reality is that most people on this
planet won’t save enough cash for it in a decade.

As
so often, hysterical exaggeration takes the place of logical
understanding of any particular issue. The connection is made between
global warming and fossil fuels. But then all reasoned analysis stops
dead. And everything is reduced to infantile simplicity.
So it’s not that modern civilisation is actually built upon foundations that require the use of resources. Oh, no. It’s because of ‘greed’. People are greedy. Which is a sin.
And just like the worst of any religion, it is beholden upon certain awoke individuals to call out that sin. And prophesize the end of the world if their words are not heeded.

+Hans Olo why are you assuming the
model needs to be people pay? this is mitigation and sustainability that
governments need to do. contract to businesses to actually improve
livability, no more techno havenots because of false scarcity across a
distribution system that generates more waste than anything else across
the chain of manufacture.
we can solve most nations problems this easily: women have rights, education, it drops the birth rate and reduces poverty across the social classes. and increases overall production and lowers crime.
