Puritanism: The terror that someone else is having fun

The Puritans liked to say they left Europe for religious freedom.

They were kicked out for having too many sticks up their arses.

And, when they claim “religious freedom”, they meant just theirs, imposed on everyone.

Breakfast of grains – plain without sugar – was thought to lower libido and make people productive with work and not productive with sex. Especially masturbation.
