Lezflirt 501: Relationship Red Flags

Relationship flag number 1

debt – retail therapy is out of controlTil Debt do Us Part 1

There are some non-fiction programs that I have enjoyed watching.

What struck me the most in this show is that everything stems back to relationship problems. Communication – not only what but how – that is occurring or not.

Communication is the key to better sex, better flourishing, better nourishing and better finances.

The comments and jokes you make about your partner or your relationship become the truth. so make it a positive one if you want it to last and if not… why are you still there?

You don’t have many or any interests in the same activities

it’s an effort to do anything together

You don’t share the same goals or visions

or you can’t agree or coordinate

A few years ago, her show came to Vancouver to film.

The basic premise is that she does a financial assessments and rapidly determines where the money is going – generally on excessive hobbies, fan collections, entertainment and mostly escapism.

If the couple meets all the goals set for over the month, they win $5000.

I wanted to go on this show because something had to give.

combined with the other givens of my circumstances

it turns out

it was me

total mental exhaustion and collapse

too many balls in the air

no clear goal or purpose

just hoard for it’s own sake, a habit more than a hobby

so the lessons learned are what not to do

if you can’t be a good example

at least be an effective cautionary tale
