    I’ve got nothing.
  • Jannet Towers's profile photo
I don’t believe that sin is natural. Sin is probably anything but natural. But I suppose you have to define “natural.”  But also, how do atheists determine what’s good and what’s bad?
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers sin is an imaginary disease and religion is mental illness. Good vs bad are childish concepts that people outgrow in puberty. Part of adulting and being socially capable is not needing obvious social good explained to you.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
how about now?Arbie Webb,Jr.'s profile photo
  • Jannet Towers's profile photo
Wait wait wait wait. You’re saying there’s NO SUCH THINGS as good and bad? So killing a 3 year old isn’t bad? Feeding the starving isn’t good? What are you saying exactly?
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers I am saying you are the one who can’t understand why it is not okay to do these things and are assuming that everyone else is as you are.
  • +Jannet Towers I am saying things you have never heard before. that is what I am saying.
  • Arbie Webb,Jr.'s profile photo
     I’m still confused.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
I thought you’d want to explain to the Godbot on the Thread about having a relationship with reality. she is struggling with my Canadian english and thought you might translate.
  • Jannet Towers's profile photo

I’d say, the reason it’s not “okay” to do those things, is because it’s BAD. Exactly! There IS such a thing as “good and bad.” Isn’t there? I understand why it’s BAD to do those things.

Tell me. Why do YOU think it’s “not okay” (in other words, BAD) to kill a person?

  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers why do you think it’s okay to ask idiotic questions as if they have any meaning or value? your emotionally loaded talking points are facile on their face, and you should be embarrassed by your gross oversimplifications and misrepresentations.

2 days have passed since the last post on the below other interaction with the Female Godbot. But today, she posted this:

  • Jannet Towers's profile photo

“why do you think it’s okay to ask idiotic questions as if they have any meaning or value?” Ad Hominem fallacy. No argument there. Plus, I thought atheists were all about asking questions and searching to find the answers!

“Your emotionally loaded talking points are facile on their face.” Emotional? What? How can you tell what my emotions are on Google Plus? You can’t hear my tone of voice, or see my face expression. I can assure you, I’m not the one being emotional now.

Oh yes. I’m SOO embarrassed right now…because I’m the one who actually believes that good and bad exist..

Tell me, (that is, if you WANT to have an intelligent discussion), if there’s no good and bad, then why is murder wrong?

  • 33m
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
2 days later and an attack is your comeback? do you have any fallacies to add as you whine about not being revered, because you cannot tell the difference between “reverence” and “respect”? this is why religion is mental illness – nothing you have posted is at all polite or civil and you are clearly copying text from other sources and being coached. You do not understand the internet and should not use technology invented by atheists to spread your genocidal religion.
you do not offer intelligent conversation, you are running checklists and trying to win a conversation. Frankly I had no idea who you were from any other Godbot on line who are in violation of the service of contract for the platform you are using.

  • Jannet Towers's profile photo

Oh my goodness! TWO DAYS later! Call the cops! I’ve apparently committed a crime for taking a super long break from electronics to live my life!

You do know that if one side of a debate uses fallacies it DOESN’T help them, right? Or would you rather not debate, but instead take turn throwing insults at each other. How have I attacked or insulted you? I apologize if I have.

“Nothing you have posted is at all polite or civil”

What have I said that’s uncivil. You are the one who called my questions idiotic.

“and you are clearly copying text from other sources and being coached”

As a Christian who believes deliberately lying is a mortal sin, I tell you, I am doing nothing of the sort.

Unless you count taking what I’ve learned and applying it to life “being coached.”

“You do not offer intelligent conversation, you are running checklists and trying to win a conversation.”

I am definitely not trying to win a conversation. It’s impossible to do that when arguing with someone who is closed-minded and unwilling to listen to the other side.

When I saw this post, I just thought I should clarify that sin is NOT natural, and that’s why these atheists were confused when they made this meme. I don’t blame them. They were misinformed. I am informing them what it is Christians believe.

  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers you interrupted me in my life to return to this ridiculous acting as if you are a victim at every turn. People who are not psychopaths or sociopaths and are socially capable are horrified by your mixing your emotional declarations and religious bather, and people like you are why Alan Turing died and you don’t pass the Turing Test.
+Jannet Towers people who know history know what religions believe and it is not what you say, it is in deeds, it is because we are informed that we are not one of you, nor do we have to respect you. or, talk to you. bye troll
to respect you. or, talk to you. bye troll

  • Arbie Webb,Jr.'s profile photo
+Jannet Towers I don’t think she or any of the atheists here claimed to be open- minded. Just like religious people are not very open-minded. Everybody’s god is the true god. Wars and persecution result. Atheists say what kind of loving god allows this. And there you have it. You can thank me later. (Maybe it’s good you were blocked.)
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
it’s why they get genocidal, they only read words that instruct in use of the sword that spreads the words.

thank you Arbie Webb,Jr.'s profile photo most kindly
  • Jannet Towers's profile photo
So, the fact that there are so many different religions proves that ALL OF THEM are wrong? How does THAT work?
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers they all have the same zero evidence for starters, that religion varies geographically while science does not is also a clue.
  • 17h
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers second, when “interfaith committees” were invented last century, that should have been been clue number two.
  • Jannet Towers's profile photo

I’d say miracles are pretty good evidence. People being saved by angels, people being cured by diseases when the doctors said there was no chance of recovery. People speaking in tongues. Bodies of saints being incorrupt.

For the record, atheists can’t agree on much either.

Actually, atheists can’t even agree on what atheism is.
“Broad” Atheists disbelieve in all gods.
“Narrow” Atheists disbelieve in a particular selection of gods.
“Strong” or “Positive” or “Explicit” or “Hard” Atheists claim that there is no God (or gods).
“Weak” or “Negative” or “Implicit” or “Soft” Atheists merely lack belief that there is a God (or gods).
“Gnostic” Atheists say it’s certain that God (or gods) do not exist.
“Strong” Agnostic Atheists say it’s impossible to know if God (or gods) exists.
“Weak” Agnostic Atheists say it might be possible someday to know if God (or gods) exists (but not at this very instant).
“Ignostic” or “Igtheistic” Atheists say the term “God” is simply devoid of meaning.
“Pragmatic” Atheists say it’s just not important whether God exists.
“Deistic” Atheists say that, in fact, God exists (but He doesn’t do a whole lot, aside from creating the universe).
Some atheists think atheism is an opinion.
Some atheists think it’s a lack of an opinion.
Some atheists claim that all, some, or none of these qualify as Atheism.

  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers nope, utter nonsense of no verifiable merit. You are using technology invented by atheists, some of whom were LGBTQ and many of whom were not white in the information age and making being white embarrassing.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers you are not an atheist, so do not presume to speak for or to what that means, you have zero understanding of what academic standards are and use the ordinary meaning of words and do not understand actual technical language. word meaning games are not reality, nor are they logic, it’s emotional wanking.
  • Jannet Towers's profile photo

The fact that you won’t believe miracles (even though you haven’t investigated any) proves that atheists are much more closed-minded than they say they are.”You are using technology invented by atheists, some of whom were LGBTQ and many of whom were not white in the formation age and making being white embarrassing.”

What, may I ask, is your point here? Are you saying because I’m using something made by an atheist, I should therefore become an atheist? By that logic, any atheist who uses the big bang theory should become a Catholic, since a Catholic priest came up with that theory.

I have spoken to atheists though. Many. Some say abortion and suicide are okay. Some say they are NOT okay. And do you think I just made up all those terms right now? No, all those kinds of atheists exist.

  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers I am saying this is the information age and you should understand the tools you use and thus why what you post is obsolete.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers yes. I can tell you have a standard monologue that you think passes for adult conversation, so far, all you have actually expressed is that which has convinced you to stop learning should somehow be compelling to others and that you do not understand the difference between yourself and that other people have their own experiences and get to decide for themselves about family planning. it is, to use your words “bad to control other people”
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers all those degrees of atheism are not actually meaningful either. there are people who believe a religion, then there are people who fear not conforming and then, there are educated people and what is said across those types is not the same as said within groups.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers for example, you completely misuse and do not demonstrate understanding of what a fact is :”The fact that you won’t believe miracles (even though you haven’t investigated any)”. facts are accepted when real, not believed – and the burden of proof is on the claimant – another concept you do not demonstrate understanding of

Jannet Towers's profile photo

The reason I am showing how many types of atheism there are, is because of this post. They make fun of how many different religions there are, yet there are many different definitions of atheism that atheists use. So that’s not a good argument.

So, tell me then. Do you believe in gravity? Because, as many smart scientist atheists say, gravity’s just a theory. Do you believe that the moon landing actually happened?

  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Jannet Towers you are not demonstrating anything anything other than your imprecise use of language and lack of intellectual rigor.
belief is wishful thinking, it is not any way to understand or gain knowledge, and this is your core problem of speaking as if an authority, rather than authoritarian.
are you under the delusion that Catholic is not christian? it’s the oldest branch and Xtian is a bad copy of Judaism and Islam/muslim is a worse copy of Xtian.
  • you want to cry about being mocked when you are in the group doing the oppressing of rights and genociding people? you are not any kind of victim being a christian in America and if you do not want to be made fun of then do not say fallacious and foolish things and expect to be considered an adult.
