The 50’s burger bar wasn’t open at 11 am as the sign showed.
two other cars had shown up and left as we dithered undecidedly.
One staff member showed up as we were about to leave.
it was 11:30 and it took her another almost thirty minutes to have a cigarette, wait for someone else to show up, leave for a slushie drink from somewhere else.
but the last time, the burgers had been excellent, so we waited.
once inside and orders placed – food arrived it was really not.
They were average to middling, even allowing for the annoyance factor of the pointless delay of a slow start for already late staff.
Anyway, that level of crap service and inconsistent product means not going back.
