Public Education vs Educating the Public

Five-year-old Jack is in the middle of a groundbreaking human rights case launched by his parents, which goes before the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal next month.
If successful, it could pave the way to school boards providing better supports for the 20,000 autistic students in Ontario.

I want my teachers and professors to treat me like a normal person. I want them to treat me like another student and not some person who wants to he coddled. I really am not that offended if someone doesn’t call me they or them. If they call me she or her because I look like a girl, I let it go because 1. I don’t want them to be annoyed at me and 2. I just want to have a normal conversation with them.

What does feminism have to do with LGBTQ? Other than claiming special rights.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
so you’re an oppressor too then. sad.

Maybe you never make progress in you discussion because you’re too busy casting aspersions.
You don’t answer questions you just jump into defensive mode. I asked you a question.
Notice also how you assume an Atheist cannot have a grasp on feminist views. The reason you may be having difficulty is because you’re being a perpetual victim.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
You misread – I asked how he could be an atheist without feminist and LGBQ understanding. Religion is what makes people unable to get along.
tell that to Black Lives Matter as they are bullying Pride Parades.

  • Austin Hernández's profile photo
Atheism is not a religion(its the complete opposite). 😑😒 Also religion is irrelevant.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
yet your atheism has not freed you from religious attitudes about women.
  • Tess W's profile photo
No, I didn’t misread. You claimed he had a lack of understanding of the feminist issues. What did he say that made you draw that conclusion? Lol
You just assumed it. I have something to ask you.
1)How do you hold yourself on such a pedestal for promoting “equality for all women” but then bash women who do not agree with you?
    And
    2) Can you name 3 rights men have that women don’t?
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
    2) all of the rights in America actually, women do not have equality under the law.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
his post about feminism was either bashing or trolling for this very outcome. So your reading of everything is suspect given your siding with men and against LGBTQ.
  • Tess W's profile photo
Thats a lie, Name 3. And answer my other question.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
Well you are on Google – look up when the Equal Rights Amendment passed/ratified and prove me wrong.
  • Tess W's profile photo
It’s not my job to prove your statement. It’s your job to prove it.
Why do you need the ERA when you have the Civil Rights Act? Lol
Look, I know its a hard question, because you’re telling lies. You feminists want everyone to believe that the whole world is against you. You want everyone to believe that. If all laws were for men and against women, you should be able to name AT LEAST 3!!!
But you can’t, so that proves my point, you’re lying and peddling a false narrative.
And I’ll be done here, since you won’t answer..
  • Austin Hernández's profile photo
Wtf are you talking about? How do I have an “attitude about women”? And what does religion have to do with it? I guess you’re talking about Islam(which shouldn’t be used to judge everyone). That’s all you feminists know to do. Yall judge everyone and fights for rights yall already have. Yall wanna know what oppressuon feels like? Go see women in Islamic states like Afghanistan. Then yall will see what “privileges” yall have and maybe will shut the hell up.
  • Tess W's profile photo
    EXACTLY!
  • Austin Hernández's profile photo
omg a black woman that understands! 😂 no offense but many feminists are black women, more than white it looks like. Glad you understand! Those feminists are pure selfish and want all the attention. They talk about male privilege, yet take all their own rights and privileges for granted.
  • Tess W's profile photo
I ran her off, did you read my comments? I always ask feminists to name 3 rights men have that women don’t.
They always refuse to answer because they’re peddling lies! She claims the ERA (EQUAL rights amendment) narrative, but that law would be redundant since the Civil Rights Act prevents discrimination based on gender. They don’t have a leg to stand on. Feminists want one thing, and that’s the right to dominate men!
    They’re whiny brats.
  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo

since you are unable to google it is not ratified : The ERA in the States. The Equal Rights Amendment was passed by Congress on March 22, 1972 and sent to the states for ratification. In order to be added to the Constitution, it needed approval by legislatures in three-fourths (38) of the 50 states.

  • Austin Hernández's profile photo

+Tess W In some ways, women have more rights than men in America. For example, women are almost automatically given custody of their children, men receive far harsher punishments for the exact same crimes, of women are charged at all that is, and what I think is the worst is how it was legal for a woman to rape a man until 2013. 2013! That’s bullshit! So it didn’t become illegal until 4 years ago. But yet men still don’t report it much because our society thinks that makes a man look weak, which is also bullshit. Why doesn’t it look that way for women too?

I support equality, but it looks like we actually need to fight for men’s rights!

  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
+Austin Hernández hetero men are on all the crime leaderboards across demographics.
  • men rape men more often than women do.

men have the rights in law, because men wrote said laws,  and women at men’s tolerance and telling women to be glad they got theirs because other men in other places are worse.
