A Funny Thing Happened Yesterday

When my Mom and I were at the Timmy’s, it’s roll up the rim contest time.

I am 49 years old and I have never won anything on this cup game.

But yesterday, I won a free coffee.

And, so did my Mom.

So, I went to the cashier to ask what the procedure was – as I did not want to get another coffee.

As I tried to ask what portion of the cup I had to keep as a token, another customer heard my saying that I had won – and somehow thought I had won a car.

So, first I had to stop her from making a big deal and tell the cashier it’s a coffee win and not a big deal.

weird how people try to become part of other people’s “stories”
