Hawaiian Pizza and Presidential Powers

The Icelandic President created a teaching moment about political leadership, using Pineapple on Pizza as an example.
Pizza is credited to Italy as a dish, and America has created many regional variations in their new homeland.
So imagine some surprise to discover that besides Poutine, gravy with cheese curds on french fries (a Belgium dish), it turns out that Canada gave the world pineapple on pizza. Canada’s take on America’s versions of European cuisines.

  1. Nina this made me giggle (and want pizza) I for one think pineapple is pretty good on pizza. But of course, a glass of wine just makes it.
