Mass Media of and for The Masses

This meme is designed to limit, and ultimately destroy, the independent media.
religion is a fake realty that prevents people from being able to think
Anderson pooper is an expert on fake news, it’s pretty much all he spews.
Fake news is big business

It’s funny how they determine what’s fake and what’s not . If it concerns Hillary and her atrocities it’s call fake instead of fact .
There’s no such thing. You’ll know when you cross the line.

“Hegelian Dialectic” – Study it, you’ll understand its all BS.

Clinton won with 43% back in 1992. Juss sayin because I find the rationalizing on that one to be quite revealing.

At least him admitting he did not win the popular vote may shut up the nutty republicans who still claim he did.
  • Jeffrey Hamby's profile photo

May or may not be true. But both candidates very definitely campaigned to win the electoral vote and he came out on top.

And  I haven’t seen a single republican claim he did.

the UN needs to audit that election

The best thing Trump could do is shut up. He won. Everything he adds to the conversation makes him look smaller.

I tend to believe when he said the election was rigged. only true thing he said

The deflection thing was pretty common. Whatever he was doing, he said another candidate was doing. Still bruised from it all.
  • Jeffrey Hamby's profile photo

It’s actually kind of funny how may people from the other team riddled Trump with insults (including Obama himself) for considering the elections could be rigged, only to make that claim now that their own terrible candidate has lost.

Disclaimer: I hated both candidates enough that I didn’t vote.  Neither was worth my time.

Trump is a full blown psychopath and people were so stupid that they couldnt see through his acting and refuse to see through his retoric, which is the same kind of rhetoric Hitler was using when he came into power..

  • Jason Allen's profile photo
Yes, we have Godwin’s Lawed. However as much as I loath comparing anyone to Hitler, Trump is one of those rare cases in which it seems to be a valid comparison. Some of what I’ve seen of Trump’s rallies where people get beaten up while he cheers it on reminds me of old video of Hitler rallying his Brown Shirts.
  • Trump displays many of the telltale signs of clinically defined narcissism. I seriously doubt he could admit to himself that he could lose anything fairly, let alone admit it to other people.

Trump? The guy who said he was going to drain the swamp and then nominated the who’s who of the swamp to his cabinet? I do not support Hillary, and I did not vote for her, but Trump is a better con artist than Hillary could ever dream of being. If you honestly think Trump doesn’t do underhanded deals, you haven’t been paying attention and were easy pray to his biggest con to date.
  • Jeffrey Hamby's profile photo
That’s stuff from after the election, so has nothing to do with why she lost. Every candidate makes claims they won’t honor. That’s not newsworthy anymore.

watching your election from Canada, there really is nothing that can compare. it’s no wonder the word of the year is surreal, eh?
if the Russians had helped the democrats, the Republicans would be freaking out not ignoring it.

There’s still no actual evidence the Russians were involved, and Assange himself said the leaks didn’t come from the Russians.

But assuming you’re right, all they did do was expose Clinton and the DNC. I’m all for knowing the truth.

Republicans are weird, they follow Fox News, which is owned by the Saudis and they elected Russia’s preferred candidate and Putin endorsed him in the media… seriously Joe McCarthy is spinning in his grave., they don’t care who they are in bed with, racism seems to be where they will compromise as long as they can bash women and queers
  • Jeffrey Hamby's profile photo

I agree, they are weird. So are Democrats though. They follow MSNBC and HuffPo then dare to make claims about fake news.

Don’t forget, though, that at learned from wikileaks that the Saudis also funded Clinton in large numbers.

  • Nina Tryggvason's profile photo
yes! it is funny that the republicans like to point out that the KKK joined politics via the Democrats in the 1960s, when they have been a wing of the republican party since the 1980s – when reagan merged the party with the “moral majority”

I don’t really count the bankruptcies because they were cons, which is covered under “con artist.” His businesses didn’t really go bankrupt, he gamed the courts to get out of having to pay his contractors. He has even bragged about it. He bragged about cheating small businesses out of money.
  • Jeffrey Hamby's profile photo
Not true, the KKK was founded by Southern Democrats, mostly in response to Lincoln (a Republican) having issued the emancipation proclamation and the ensuing amendments. Both parties were pretty different back then though.

Fox news is owned by 21st Century Fox (Formerly News Corp), which is controlled by the Murdoch family. The Saudis may have an interest in the company, but they don’t own it.

Fox News is not allowed in Canada because it does not meet the legal meaning of news. However, China’s main news is now in Canada….

we have to do Canada Content so we have the CBC, which we don’t watch because there’s american shows on.

nothing like watching a documentary about Mayans or Incans when the narrator intones, “At the time Jesus was walking” . no. full stop. Mayans had running water while Europe had the Black Plague
Would the Trump trolls just move on? I’d prefer to read thoughtful commentary
Trump has verbal diarrhea and you want something thoughtful? Cognitive Dissonance much?

More and more of NBA’s most valuable players are being rested for scheduled games, and data from wearables could also help coaches track exertion levels during the game and manage players more efficiently. […] Earlier this month, digital fitness company Whoop announced results of a performance study involving 230 minor league players from nine MBL organizations. The study used Whoop’s wristworn wearable Strap to measure heart rate, heart rate variability, ambient temperature, movement and skin response to monitor the relationship between physiological status and performance.
While NBA players aren’t currently allowed to wear biometric devices during games, a new committee is in the works to reassess the value of and role wearables may eventually play in the sport.
tech cheating replaces drugging?
Knowing more about your body doesn’t seem like cheating to me.

coaches tracking players during the game is not learning about your body, it’s a step away from being Borg.
😉 ok then…

See how easy that was?
😉
I should add, I’d probably be considered a borg, by these standards.

it’s the co-ordination of the network, that makes the Borg -more than individual self management in the group. Uni\matrix Zero individuates.

One Response to Mass Media of and for The Masses

  1. dykewriter says:

the important thing now, is that we understand when the Brexit 48% and the Americans with too much privilege 47% that did not vote are bystanders at best and enablers at worst.

They are not the good guys who were helpless, they are why “hitlers” happen. and sometimes, there are exceptions to Godwin’s Law.
