Waiting for the Blizzard – GVRD BC-burbia

I managed to be in the front yard for under an hour.

Scrapping what snow could be off the inch or two of ice on the driveway and sidewalk.

The nausea hit inside of 10 minutes, and I ignored it as I shovelled, breathing, breathing and breathing.

it;s funny when your heart rate and lungs sync up, fear and exercise, one and the same

thump thump thumpa thump

scrap toss, scrap toss

soft thunks of ice hitting snow

banked

salted

melted

waiting to freeze again

under the new snow to fall
