Book Review: Captain and The Kings


Taylor Caldwell’s Captains and The Kings was primarily about the American terror of having a Catholic President and the idea of national control rather than Vatican domination.

It was a re-telling of The Kennedy Family, only pushed back in time a century.

A multi-generational tale of a family rising through the American social strata, the showy part of the story telling about the Business Consortium operating above governments and religions.
