Elvis: Reel to Real

Give us this Feb 18 our Daily Elvis

Elvis performed at the Stage Show, CBS Studio, New York City at 8.00 p.m. Here Elvis sung Tutti Frutti and I Was The One, a ballad of which he was very proud. At 11.45 p.m. Elvis and the band flew to Tampa, Florida.
Four men jumped on stage toward the end of Elvis’ performance at the midnight show in Las Vegas. Several members of the entourage rushed to defend Elvis. However it was Elvis himself who knocked one of the men back into the audience.
When order was finally restored, Elvis told the audience: “I’m sorry, ladies and gentlemen. I’m sorry I didn’t break his goddamned neck is what I’m sorry about.”
Elvis had returned to Colorado with the idea of buying a vacation home but returned to Memphis almost immediately after his Denver police friends attempted to talk to him about his increasingly erratic behavior.
Elvis performed at the Carolina Coliseum, Columbia, South Carolina.
