US Billboard Charts: After only three weeks Elvis’ cheap ‘It’s Christmas Time’ compilation has overtaken ‘If I Can Dream’ in the US album charts. The US marketing section of EPE should expect a rocket from management.

It’s Christmas Time’ rises from 108 to 78 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart for w/e 12th December, 2015. It also rises from 66 to 65 on the |Top Album Sales Chart; drops from 7 to 11 on the Top Catalog Album Chart and drops from 6 to 8 on the Holiday Album Chart.

‘If I Can Dream’ drops from 79 to 102 on the Top 200 Album Chart; drops from 46 to 69 on the Top Album Sales; drops from 42 to 57 on the Top Current Albums but remains at 2 on the Classical Album Chart.

‘The Classic Christmas Album’ is a new entry at 194 on the Top 200 Album Chart. It also rises from 34 to 26 on the Top Album Sales Chart and rises from 5 to 3 on the Country Catalog Album Chart.

‘Merry Christmas, Love Elvis’ drops from 16 to 31 on the Top Album Sales Chart; drops from 14 to 25 on the Holiday Album Chart and drops from 1 to 5 on the Country Catalog Album Chart.

‘Elvis: Ultimate Christmas’
drops from 17 to 22 on the Holiday Album Chart; rises from 18 to 17 on Top Country Albums; rises from 99 to 96 on Top Current Albums and remains at 21 on the Top Rock Album Chart.

‘Blue Christmas’ (Single)
is a new entry at 19 on the Holiday 100 Chart; rises from 31 to 23 on the Holiday Digital Songs Chart and is a new entry at 23 on the Holiday Airplay Chart.

‘Here Comes Santa Claus’ (Down Santa Claus Lane)
(Single) is a new entry at 23 on the Holiday 100 Chart.

Elvis drops from 36 to #77 on the Artist 100 Chart.

The “Singer presents Elvis” on NBC special was aired at 9.00 p.m. and was viewed by 42 % of the viewers, giving NBC its biggest rating victory of the year.
The press was critical but loved it too. Los Angeles Times: “I don’t think many viewers care to see singers sweat on TV, but there is no question: Elvis is back”.
