The Atlantis Myth: The Power of Words

The ONLY story of Atlantis comes to us from Timaeus, a Socratic dialogue, written in about 360 BCE by Plato.

It is the only reference until modern eras when people started looking for possible sites for a society that likely only existed in the essay – the lesson treatise.

Speaking Truth to Power is never done in direct words. Not. Just. Saying, eh.

The Crypozoologist and off beat, counter culture, anti-establishment self fashioned scientists and researchers are not very different from those who operate with a bible and a trowel – each seeking to impose a conclusion on little (and unlikely)  or no data at all.

This is the opposite of how science works – from data to a pattern, and from a pattern a larger picture towards conclusions and understanding. Confirmable and repeatable. Peer Reviewed for bias correction.

There are so many very real things that we should focus on from the past to apply to the present day to make sure that there will be a future.
