RnR: Elvis vs Buddy Holly

Buddy Holly was a budding country singer, even with a regular radio spot on the local station. Elvis unleashed Buddy’s music – and Buddy was the first to unite the new rock n roll with traditional long hair music – classical.

 

 

Elvis recorded this Holly tune first, but Buddy got it out faster as a single
