Charges have been laid against Blackmore and the other leaders of the Bountiful BC community.
Hopefully Canadian law enforcement will coordinate with the American counterparts in Texas and Colerado,; which are the two southern communities that Bountiful has been trafficking in girls in an attempt to widen their gene pool.
Closed communities are eventual self solving problems.
Even in places like China and India, with a billion population each; in a culture that disfavours female offspring, there is certainly not some for everyone.
despite what the movies and hallmark cards would have us think.
In any event in all previous attempts to deal with these communities, the government and police forces have almost comically done the absolute wrongest thing.
Generally resulting in either communities self detonating (ie Waco, Jonestown) or the law enforcement doing it. (ie Ruby Ridge)
Bigamy is illegal. so polygamy is with willing victims. Demonstrating more abuse of their victims than a duped spouse in every town.
Moreover like Al Capone tax fraud is very easy to prove.
Ditto any and all government contracts that Blackmore has for labour practices.
people are accountable for what they do
religion is not a defense for abusing people
it’s the mechanism
